My Fees are very reasonable and in accordance with fees charged by professional Celebrants.
The price for any of the ceremonies available will be discussed on the first interview. This will depend on how elaborate the ceremony is and the time involved in the preparation.
My fee is reflective of my knowledge, my skills, my creative ability, my training and my capability to deliver a specialized ceremony to meet your needs.
A standard Wedding or Commitment Ceremony starts at $500, Baby Naming and Adoption Ceremonies $200 and Renewals $300.
On average I would take 25 to 30 hours with each couple to prepare and perform their ceremony.
This cost will include –
- As many meetings you need between you and me.
- Unlimited contact by phone or e-mail should you need to discuss anything with me.
- Letter to the immigration department for visa requirements.
- Translations of ceremonies into Spanish or Italian for bilingual ceremonies
- A pack containing samples of wedding vows, ideas, readings, rituals, music, and exchange of rings.
- Wedding Checklist
- Provide a ceremony that recognises your unique personality, being sensitive to your needs, wishes, values, philosophical and spiritual beliefs and cultural background
- Supply, if required, signing table, chairs with covers and a matching sash to complement the bridal colours. 2 Bamboo Torches, Tablecloth, PA system and the Wedding March or Ave Maria on CD.
- A copy of your drafted ceremony for discussion
- A pre-marriage rehearsal
- Arrive at the ceremony 30 minutes prior to commencement, liaise with planners, venue staff, etc. and ensure that all is as you require
- Travelling to and from the wedding venue up to 100k. Any extra km can be arranged.
- Perform the ceremony in a professional, prepared and appropriate manner
- My grooming is impeccable and my choice of clothing will complement the bridal party, if so desired
- Completion and lodgement of paperwork
- Prepare and lodge all necessary legal documentation
- If requested I can supply a copy of your ceremony for safekeeping
A statement of costs will be issued after booking your ceremony. Additional costs may be incurred if –
- Extensive travel is necessary
- Accommodation or overnight stay required
- Printing of Orders of Ceremony is requested
- Changes requested to Orders of Ceremony after proof has been signed off
- Special effects are requested
- Special purchases need to be made
Payment and Refund Policy
(i) A non refundable (if you cancel) booking fee of $200 for Weddings and Commitment, $100 for Naming and Adoptions and $150 for Renewals is payable on booking my services. The balance must be paid at least fourteen (14) days prior to the marriage. Payment may be made by cash, direct deposit or by cheques made out to me. Credit card payments cannot be accepted
PLEASE NOTE
If payment is not made in full fourteen (14) days prior to the marriage your celebrant has the right to decline to perform the ceremony.
(ii). Should the marriage be cancelled by the couple and notice given to the celebrant more than 30 days before to the marriage any balance of payment which may have already been paid will be refunded, but excluding the booking fee and any payment made for services which may have already been executed such as the purchase of items specific for the ceremony. Any such items purchased however, will be the property of the couple.
(iii). Should the marriage be cancelled by the couple and notice given to the celebrant less than 30 days before the marriage, the balance of payment, which may have been made, may not be returned but any such items purchased however, will be the property of the couple.
(iv.). Should the celebrant fail to attend the marriage and fail to organise another celebrant to attend, all fees paid to the celebrant shall be refunded including any payment made for services which may have already been executed such as the purchase of items specific to the ceremony. The booking fee is non refundable.
